Privacy Policy
Effective date: 12 June 2026.
This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit zeitt.io and join the Zeitt waitlist. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run a pre-launch waitlist.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for processing your data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
Email: privacy@zeitt.io
2. What data we collect
- Waitlist email address. When you submit the waitlist form, we collect the email address you enter so we can notify you when early access opens.
- Technical data. Like any website, our hosting provider may process server log data such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of your request to deliver the site securely.
- Theme preference. Your light/dark theme choice is stored locally in your browser (
localStorage). It never leaves your device and is not used to identify you.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
3. Why we use your data and the legal basis
- To manage the waitlist and contact you about early access , based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time (see Section 7).
- To operate and secure the website, based on our legitimate interest in providing a stable, secure service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Service providers and data transfers
We use the following processors, who handle data on our behalf under appropriate agreements:
- GetLaunchList: waitlist form and email storage. The email you submit is sent to and stored by GetLaunchList. This may involve a transfer to servers outside the EU/EEA; where that is the case, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. See their privacy policy at getlaunchlist.com/privacy.
- Vercel: serves the website and processes server logs. Hosting is provided by Vercel Inc. See their privacy policy at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
5. How long we keep your data
We keep your waitlist email until the beta is over and we have invited or contacted you, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Server logs are retained only as long as necessary for security and then deleted.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict or object to processing;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@zeitt.io.
7. Withdrawing from the waitlist
You can leave the waitlist at any time by emailing privacy@zeitt.io, and we will delete your email address from our list.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Zeitt evolves. The current version is always available on this page, with the effective date shown above.
